Final Orientation & Send-off Ceremony
8月6日、埼玉県立岩槻高等学校で、2026年度オーストラリア海外授業体験学習の結団式・最終説明会を実施しました。
On August 6, Iwatsuki High School held the final orientation and send-off ceremony for our 2026 Australia Study Experience Program.
参加生徒は、8月17日から24日までの日程でオーストラリアを訪れ、現地での授業体験や交流を通して、英語力だけでなく、異なる文化を理解し、自分たちの考えや日本の文化を伝える力を磨いてきます。
From August 17 to 24, our students will visit Australia and take part in classes and activities with local students. Through this experience, they will develop not only their English communication skills, but also their ability to understand different cultures and share their own ideas and Japanese culture.
いよいよ出発へ――結団式・最終説明会 Getting Ready for Departure — Final Orientation & Send-off Ceremony
当日は、参加生徒と保護者の皆様に向けて最終説明会を行い、研修の日程や現地での生活、出発に向けた確認事項などを改めて共有しました。
During the final orientation, students and their families reviewed the program schedule, daily life in Australia, travel arrangements, and other important information before departure.
結団式では教頭から参加生徒と保護者の皆様へ挨拶があり、続いて今回の海外授業体験学習に帯同する教員からも挨拶を行いました。
At the send-off ceremony, our vice principal addressed the students and their families, followed by a message from the teachers who will accompany the group to Australia.
これまで参加生徒たちは、オーストラリアでの生活や文化について学ぶとともに、現地で実際に使う英語や交流に向けた準備を重ねてきました。
In preparation for the program, the students have been learning about Australian life and culture while also practising practical English for communication with their host families and local students.
日本文化を「伝える」――日本文化祭に向けた練習 Sharing Japanese Culture — Preparing for Our Japanese Cultural Festival
海外授業体験学習は、英語を学ぶだけの研修ではありません。
This program is about much more than simply studying English.
現地の皆さんに日本の文化を知ってもらうことも、大切な交流の一つです。参加生徒たちは、現地で行う日本文化祭に向けた練習にも取り組んでいます。
Sharing Japanese culture with our friends in Australia is also an important part of the program. Our students have been practising for a Japanese cultural festival that will be held during their stay.
自分たちの文化を、自分たちの言葉や表現で相手に伝えること。それも、国際交流だからこそ得られる大切な学びです。
Learning how to introduce our own culture through our own words and performances is one of the most meaningful parts of international exchange.
「英語を学ぶ」だけでなく、「日本を伝える」。
現地の高校生との交流を通して、生徒たちがどのような経験をし、何を感じて帰ってくるのか、とても楽しみです。
Not only learning English, but also sharing Japan.
We are excited to see what our students will learn, discover, and bring home through their experiences with students in Australia.
8月17日、オーストラリアへ Off to Australia on August 17!
参加生徒たちは、8月17日に日本を出発し、24日までの8日間、オーストラリアで海外授業体験学習に参加します。
Our students will leave Japan on August 17 and spend eight days in Australia, returning on August 24.
日本とは異なる環境の中で、実際に英語を使い、人と出会い、文化の違いに触れる経験は、教室だけでは得ることのできない学びになるはずです。
Using English in real situations, meeting new people, and experiencing another culture first-hand will provide opportunities for learning that cannot be found in a classroom alone.
これまで準備してきたことを大切にしながら、一人一人が多くのことに挑戦し、大きく成長して帰ってきてくれることを期待しています。
We hope every student will make the most of everything they have prepared for, take on new challenges, and return to Japan with greater confidence and a wider perspective.
We are very excited to meet you!
We hope to learn together, share our cultures, communicate in English, and make many wonderful memories during our stay.
